Clean Laptop LCD Screen With Isopropyl Alcohol

Who doesn’t wish their 2 year old laptop could once look like it used to when we  first bought it.  Not many of us right.  The good new is there things we can do to get that old looking laptop lcd screen to look brand new again.

Dilute Isopropyl Alcohol, keep in mind this is NOT rubbing alcohol, of a mixture of about 50% distilled water and 50% alcohol.  Remember purified bottled water works but make sure it says purified on the actual bottle as not all are purified.  If you do not have Isopropyl alcohol then you can use white vinegar as a substitute.

Place this diluted mixture of alcohol and purified water into a spray bottle of some sort.  A spray bottle that you push from the top is prefered here as you need a very light mist spray.  Do not, however use this and just spray it on the LCD laptop screen.

Put the solution you just made onto a clean cloth, a cloth that is lint free and will not shed at all is best.  The larger the cloth and thicker it is the better because then you will not leave streaks.

Start wiping the moistened cloth across the screen and make sure you do it in circular motions and apply the cloth evenly on the LCD laptop screen.  Do not touch the screen with your hands at all this is not a good thing to do ever to any LCD type screen.

When you are done wiping let the screen air dry in an open position.  Come back and see the results of your new looking clean laptop lcd screen.
